Strengthening Partnerships for Feminist Action for Climate Justice. Networking Reception at COP28

Immediately following the panel on EDUCATION AND SKILLS CHALLENGES AND ACTION FOR ACCELERATING GENDER EQUALITY IN THE JUST ENERGY TRANSITION, the Feminist Action for Climate Justice Action Coalition —convened by UN Women under Generation Equality— will hold a NETWORKING RECEPTION for commitment makers and panel audience members within the Spain Pavilion to network and strengthen partnerships. Along with the Government of Spain, the other FACJ Action Coalition member reception co-hosts, include the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and the Nordic Council of Ministers. This reception will include remarks by the co-hosts, guiding questions for networking and partnership building, and food and beverages. Welcome remarks will be broadcast live.

Leaders and commitment makers of this innovative multi-stakeholder partnership will have the opportunity to meet one another, share the actions that are advancing under the Coalition, and build foundations for future collaboration and partnerships to advance the feminist climate justice goals. This reception will also be open to other entities interested in joining this FACJ Action Coalition and/or learning how to strengthen strategic alliances with the Equal by 30 Campaign and other initiatives related to FACJ goals.
